Every great story has a beginning. Ours starts with a little shop on Main Street and a big dream for the families who walk through its doors.

We’re Anthony, Jennifer, and Harper Canevari, the family behind Once Upon Main. We’re giving the beloved Mud Puddles Children’s Boutique & Bookstore a fresh chapter—filled with beautiful little things, wonderful stories, and plenty of imagination.

As a local Lake Placid family, we dream of a place where families gather, friendships are made, and childhood memories come to life. You’ll find us across from Journal Plaza, pouring our hearts into the town we love.

There’s another creative chapter under our roof, too: Jennifer’s Jens Ink tattoo studio shares this special Main Street space.
